Greetings from the Oakland County Sportsmen’s Club Women’s Auxiliary!
The Women’s Auxiliary’s purpose is to aid The Oakland County Sportsmen’s Club in carrying out its purposes.
We shall promote social activities between committees and shall promote OCSC involvement in the community. We work toward these goals by working with sub-clubs. For example; we served lunch to the Hunter’s Safety class participants.
We also promote OCSC’s standing in the community when we participate in the Clarkston Fourth of July parade and when we help pack and mail Desert Angels boxes.
A lovely thank you note was received from Kelly (Marie) Finazzo for the contribution the Auxiliary made to last years Friends of OCSC Mystery Safe prizes.
Our membership has fallen over the course of time and there are now fewer than a dozen of us. Yet we plan on keeping to our purpose and doing the best we can with what we have. If you have an interest in helping us continue our efforts around the club, please contact me or anyone in the Women’s Auxiliary.
