The Lake Michigan salmon fishery is on FIRE! Some of our members joined Captain Fred Chartier on August 8th for a day of fantastic fishing. Fred really knows how to catch them and the group landed 18 very nice fish.
Nice job Captain and Crew.

Help prevent the introduction and spread of invasive species. Anglers and boaters can do their parts to help make sure Michigan’s rivers, lakes, and streams are protected against invasive species by following some simple steps: CLEAN boats, trailers and equipment, DRAIN live wells, bilges, and all water, DRY boats and equipment, DISPOSE of unwanted bait in the trash
OCSFC FISHING events to look forward to in 2024:
The Fishing Club is hosting an event on Saginaw Bay on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
The Fall Fishing Event is On! Join us September 21st for “A Day on the Bay”. Preregistration by September 14th is required! There are limited spots available for boats – first come, first served.
Limited rustic camping, cottage rentals and a campground are nearby. Let’s hope the perch, walleye and weather cooperate. Contact Pat Larsen for details and registration.
