We had a FANTASTIC Jr Sportsman’s day. The Fish and weather were very good to us. All the kids caught something and there was phenomenal support from the fishing club.
My hat is off to the boat Captains and mates who worked so very hard. Imagine taking 3-4 kids (and a few parents) out on the lake with fishing poles in their hands! And doing that 6 times in one day. Those folks are my heroes.
Ladies Adventure day is June 1st. We’re taking the GIRLS fishing. We can use a couple of helpers at the fishing site and on the boats. Guess what? Those Boat Captains and mates have to do it all over. Good grief! They must be Saints. Hopefully the fish and weather will bless us again.
The Sub club charity challenge is this General Membership meeting. Bring your Aluminum to the side door of the indoor range house for weigh in starting @ 6pm. The club with the most weight gets to choose the charity.
Summer fishing is really kicking in, so get out there and catch a few fish sandwiches. I’ll help you eat em… We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7 PM in the main clubhouse. It’s a fun group with a great bunch of people who know a lot about different styles of fishing. If you’re interested or think you know somebody who may be, please come out to an Oakland County Sport Fishing Club meeting, the 3rd Wednesday of the month @ 7PM.
