The Bite – June 2022

We had a fishing event at Pontiac lake on May 11th. Several boats full of our club members had a great evening fishing on a beautiful evening. I put on my waders and tested a few of my hand-tied flies. I ended up catching more trash than fish, but it was still a great time on the local waters. Looking for a good fish story……ask Gary, David, Allen, Dennis, Christine, Ryan, and Tex. I am certain they will all have a tale to tell.

Your fishing club will be having a fishing event on Townsend Lake on June 11th. This will be a great opportunity to get a friend who hasn’t fished in a while back on the water. It is the Free Fishing Weekend in Michigan so bring your boat, kayak, paddleboard, grab your gear maybe an out of state friend and show them what Michigan waters have to offer. Stay tuned for an e-blast with details.

We are always looking for new members and fishing ideas to share with the group…..We hope you will consider attending an Oakland County Sport Fishing Club meeting and join the fun!
