President’s Message June 2022

Hello All,

Well the 70 and 80-degree weather is finally here! It won’t be too long before everyone starts to complain about it being too hot!
For myself, I’m having a perfect week spending 5 days straight on the boat!

I’d like to congratulate and thank everyone who participated in the aluminum reclamation contest we held between sub clubs. A special thanks to Dan Valentini and Pat Larsen for spearheading this event. The club raised over 1,400.00 for the Fallen Hero’s Memorial fund which helps build memorials across the state. It’s amazing what a little friendly competition between groups turned into. Also a big thank you to Scrap Dog Recycling as they paid us generously for the aluminum and provided the truck to pick it up. I’m already hearing rumors this might be a yearly event.

A lot more is going on at the club. We’ve got more band and comedy nights booked. The archery leagues are running strong. IDPA and USPSA shooting outside again. Check out our website, there is a full calendar of events to help you keep up to date. That’s all for now, got to get back in the boat.
