President’s Message – December 2022

Greetings from the deer blind in sunny Red Oak!

Not a lot to report on this month, but I do have a couple of “thank yous” going out to all who helped make another fabulous Trunk or Treat event. Also thanks to Tons Of Fun party rentals for the bounce house, it was a great addition this year.

Also thanks to the volunteers at this year’s hunter’s sight in. The range has been busy the last couple of weeks, so I sure hope everyone got zeroed in.

The next big event on the agenda will be our Hunter’s Wild Game dinner in January. We’ve already received a couple of wild game donations. See the flyer in this month’s magazine.

Last but not least, we hope everyone has a great holiday season, and Santa brings you a new set of tires for your race car, or a new firearm or bow, and most importantly, a new fishing rod!

That’s about all for now. If anyone is looking for last-minute shopping ideas, the 2023 membership cards come in so head on in and pay for you and your spouse’s membership and beat the rush at the beginning of the year.
