Hunters Banquet Final Report

First, I would like to thank everyone who attended the 2023 Hunter’s Banquet. The event was again a sell out! I hope you all enjoyed it. This year we were able to return to our original wild game format and have buffet style serving. Venison, Elk, Bison, wild boar and Yak were our game choices this year with upgraded potato and veggies. We even had some alligator, moose and whitefish livers to start the meal. I hope you were able to get a taste.  A big thanks to the club members who were able to donate game for your meal. We had 9 deer and 2 wild boars donated. We also updated the table raffle to a bucket format to allow our guests to have a better chance at winning a prize they really wanted. Once again, our prize sponsors really came through and allowed us to offer many high-quality prizes on the table. I would especially like to thank the many volunteers that stepped up to staff the event. This is an all-volunteer army to pull off the Hunter’s Banquet and we had an excellent turn out with many new faces.  Thanks to Hunters Insite for running the for the card raffle. We had more card pulls than any other year! And finally, I like to thank the Club Staff for their support and allowing us to disrupt normal operations for this special night. We are looking for a new chairman to manage next years Hunter’s Banquet. The 2023 event was my last. In the future I hope to finally get a chance to sit down and enjoy the meal.
