Happy New year to all my OCSC family!
Well, 2022 has really started out with a bang for me, after dodging the COVID-19 bullet for 2 years and trying to keep everybody safe, it might have hit its target. I am currently quarantined in the lower levels of my home while Anne occupies the upstairs. (Guess where the good TV is at!) Was tested, waited 2 days for results, only to have them call and say the test was rejected. So I had to go get re-swabed, now waiting 2 more days. How fun! Oh well, enough about me.
Let’s look at what’s going on around the club. We’re going to try to start opening our bar on Saturday evenings on February 12th. We’ll start the night off with music from “North 44” band who are traveling all the way from Cadillac, Michigan. Check out their Facebook page.
Then on March 12th, we’ll be having a 3 headliner comedy show from the comedy team “Lighten Up”. More info to follow on that, but I know Steve Hansen is one of the headliners. Check out his Facebook page as well.
I’m hoping to be out of quarantine by 1/15/2022 so I can attend the hunters banquet. We haven’t been able to have it in 2 years and Kerry Bush and his team have really put a lot of effort into it. I know everyone will have a great time.
