The Bite – September 2024
September 1, 2024Oakland County Sportsman – September 2024
September 1, 2024My name is Brandon, In 2012, (12 years ago) when I was serving in Afghanistan , Desert Angels sent me a Miracle Box with a Bible in it. About a year ago I gave my life to Christ, I remembered the Bible you sent me. I just want to say THANK YOU, I do appreciate it. Here is the group photo and Bible.
Dear Desert Angels Team,
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the incredible care packages you sent our way. As an A-10 aircraft mechanic unit deployed in the Middle East, we work tirelessly to keep our aircraft in top shape, ensuring they’re ready to support our mission of maintaining peace and combating the remnants of ISIS.
Your thoughtful inclusion of snacks and other goodies is deeply appreciated. Every item will be enjoyed and put to good use, providing us with a much-needed boost during our deployment. The support and care you provide mean more to us than words can express. Your packages not only bring us comfort but also remind us of the incredible support we have back home. Thank you once again for your generosity and for keeping us in your thoughts. It makes a world of difference to us.
To all of the Desert Angel Volunteers,
I wanted to reach out and give a huge thank you! My team and I are currently deployed and received your care pack-ages today. We have been working around the clock and will put the coffee and candy to good use. It is such a good feeling to know that people in the U.S. are thinking of us. Your support is definitely a pick me up. Thank you once again and hopefully we can send you guys a picture soon.
Due to all of the kindness, thoughtfulness and endless labors on the part of the caring individuals such as yourself and others like you, our lives and the circumstances in which we survive in, are made a little more endurable. For it is the support of the family, friends, and caring/supporting persons that enables, and provides us the Soldiers, the drive and determination to get up every day, no matter the conditions or location we need to go, in order to ensure that the blank check we wrote when we signed up is covered.
I have taken enough of your time. Again by the humblest means and the only means we have, we the Soldiers say THANK YOU. God Bless, Gods Speed
