D.R. Wilson Rifle and Pistol Club & Action Pistol Range

By the time you read this, we will have gone through our 3rd work-bee on the general membership range. Things are really taking shape with the old dilapidated backstops on the 25- and 50-yard lines having been removed, a new 10- yard shooting position having been installed, new target backers are installed and berms are improved and elevated. More will be coming over the winter months to finish off this element of our range improvements.

DR Wilson has a number of gun raffles coming up to fund the range improvements. Please consider getting in on these as your support will make a difference! There are some great firearms being offered and all funds raised go directly to improve our shooting ranges.

The first will be a Springfield Armory M1 Garand with a 1944 provenance in fantastic condition that is being awarded at the December 27th General Membership Meeting. Get in on a chance to own an original and excellent example of American history! Tickets are available now at the office, at bar, and from DR Wilson members.

The second will be a 5-gun (gun-a-month) raffle that will start at the January membership meeting and run through the
May 2024 membership meeting. Guns will be (1) A custom built Cosaint Arms 2011 9mm, (2) Mossberg JM Pro 12ga, (3) CZ Shadow 2 9mm, (4) Canik Rival S 9mm, (5) Walther PDP F 9mm. All pistols are optic ready and the shotgun is fully ready for competition. Tickets will be available in early to mid-December.

Third up will be another single gun raffle in March. This will be a custom 2011 22LR pistol built by Precision Defense. This high-end match pistol is ideal for competition or just for the fun of having one of the best 22 LR pistols you can own and having the joy of shooting it! Tickets will be available in early to mid-January.
