MUCC has been active in protecting our hunting and fishing rights. There have been several emergency “Call to action” emails sent out in the past few weeks. These are requests for you to contact your local legislators and offer your opinions on current hot topics such as the proposed expansion of Camp Grayling that would almost DOUBLE the size of Camp Grayling and effectively take away hunting and fishing access to thousands of acres of our lands.
You can let your opinion be known by contacting the DNR at DNR-cmp-Grayling@michigan.gov or at the Camp Grayling lease update proposal webpage.

The upcoming midterm elections in November could also greatly impact our Shooting, Hunting, and Fishing rights. Get informed and make to sure to vote!! Find out who your elected officials are by going to the Michigan Secretary of State website. https://www.michigan.gov/sos/elections .
It is your responsibility to know who represents you and what their opinions are about our shooting, hunting, and fishing rights. Get out and VOTE YOUR SPORT!!!
