Conservation Corner / MUCC – December 2022

A few months ago I mentioned that I was looking for a place that would recycle monofilament, so far the only group I have been able to confirm is:

Or, just put it in one of our recycling tubes at either the Townsend Lake dock or the campground dock. You can also bring it to a fishing club meeting and they will take care of it for you! (I will be replacing the missing campground dock recycler soon)

MUCC’s annual convention will be in Mt. Pleasant on March 24th – 26th in March of 2023. It is a very interesting process and I encourage anyone who is an OCSC member who is interested to attend. Go to www.mucc.org for more information.
