The Michigan DNR has budgeted $34 million dollars to help improve our state
fish hatcheries that provide thousands of fish for our lakes and streams every year. They will also be retiring the (Research Vessel) R/V Steel Head which has been in service for over 50 years studying the Great Lakes and associated rivers and streams. Maintenance of the boat has become increasingly problematic and an upgrade is overdue.
Clean Drain Dry your boats, Kayaks, Canoes, waders….actually, everything that touches the water. Do your part…CLEAN YOUR GEAR!!!
