Would you like to help represent our club at the upcoming Outdoorama? MUCC is looking for volunteers to help staff the information booth, sell raffle tickets, and help promote OCSC. Our Club has a history of also working the Detroit fishing show but I was notified too late to get information out to you. Hopefully, we can be represented at the January 2023 show.
I hear rumors the OCSC Bar is looking at using REAL GLASSES instead of disposable plastic cups soon. This will certainly cut down on single use plastics and decrease our contributions to local landfill. More waste reducing solu-tions to come, I hope.

An invasive species update: We do have patches of PHRAMITES on OCSC property. Independence Township and the Oakland County Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area are partnering to try to control this rapidly spreading invasive plant. They are offering a no obligation property assessment to evaluate the cost to control
phragmities. Stay tuned for updates.
