Club Manager Notes – November 2023

During my first two months, more and more responsibility has been passed over to me as was promised during my initial hiring. This transition has been ongoing every day and I feel I have embraced and enjoyed every minute of it. New ideas and strategies have been initiated and pondered almost every day. I anticipate many new ideas and concepts will be coming your way soon for consideration and approval.

As to our continued success, baby boomers and millennials are our main target for new members. Typically, they have less time and less money than previous generations and they have very different club expectations. They embrace technology and are open to change and often, they demand it. If we are to remain viable, I feel we must be open to change and improvement to all of our facilities. I personally encourage our board and the general membership to establish a new vision and long range planning to make this historic facility “one of a kind”!

I strongly believe it can be done!
