Archery Club News – March 2023

Winter Archery Leagues are running strong and we are already better than half way through the season! The Winter Banquet will be on April 15th so make sure your calendar is free that evening.

In late January we held the IAA Lancaster Warm-up. This was a spot money shoot that drew some excellent archers to our club. We had a full house of 48 archers and lots of spectators in the range. It was a wonderful sight to see the building packed!
The money shoots have become very popular and draw archers from all over the State and even Canada to our club.

On the weekend of February 25th and 26th we will be hosting the Tri County NFAA shoot with four line times over the weekend.
Workbees are continuing through the winter with a lot of outdoor course clean up in preparation for a very busy summer season. We have several very big shoots planned for the summer. If you are interested in getting involved, we get together Tuesday mornings at 9:00am.

Our reverse raffle tickets are still being sold to build a Signature Shooting Stand. The drawing date for this is coming quick to so get a ticket (or tickets) before they are gone. The grand prize for this raffle is $2500.00. There will be $50 payouts every 25th ticket drawn. The drawing will be April 22, 2023 at 5:30pm in the Main Club House. Only 150 tickets will be sold! Remember you are welcome to come to the monthly Archery Club Meeting. The meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month in the Archery Club Building. We welcome your input!
