Our Traditional Shoot was the first event to use the Signature Stand. Archers were given the opportunity to shoot from any position facing the target. We had fantastic weather weekend for archery, not so much for camping Saturday night. Everyone had a wonderful time.
Leftover wood from Signature Stand was used to rebuild the decking of the front porch and the wheelchair ramp. A big thank you goes out the Signature Stand work crew for taking on this additional project.
Outdoor Summer Leagues continue through July 23rd. Come on out and try any of them. Broadhead leagues begin July 30th. Start putting your teams together. We are looking for league secretaries. Check the Archery website for details. https://ocsc-archery.org/index.html
Last year’s Safari shoot had over 100 archers. We are looking to do the same for this year. The MAA Field & Hunter shoot is the following week. Here is the schedule for shoots in July.
Workbees continue Wednesday mornings at 9 am on the Field & Hunter course with relocating targets, signpost replacement, and general range clean up. We have many individual tasks if you are looking for work hours. We are also considering Wednesday evening workbees starting the end of July to attack our evasive plants taking over the Archery Woods. Details available in July.
