Welcome New Members – October 2022
October 1, 2022Archery Club News – October 2022
October 1, 2022Well, it’s hard to believe, but I’m driving down Airport road in Waterford and I can’t believe the fall colors! Where did summer go?
The Archery Jamboree was well attended and now all of our archers are finely tuned and ready to go out into the woods and harvest some venison.
Speaking of venison, I’m going to let the cat out of the bag and tell you that Kerry Bush has decided to chair our (old way, prior to COVID) wild game dinner!
After October 15th, the club will be accepting any wild game donations that you would care to share. Please contact the office and we’ll take care of the processing. I’m sure a lot of people will be looking forward to this so look for more details soon.
On the motorsports side, Waterford Hills Road Racing is getting ready for road race number 5, which is their final race weekend. All of the drivers will be pulling out all the stops to try to get to the top of the points race. This last weekend has always been known as “The fall classic, where the fiberglass flies north and the geese fly south”. It’s always action-packed.
Last but not least, the new alarm system is in and we appreciate everyone’s patience during the rollover.
That’s all for now, but, as always, if you’re hunting from an elevated stand please use a safety harness!!!!!!
See you in the woods,
Gary
