To promote all species and types of fishing with an emphasis on ethical sportsmanship and education of our youth; Focusing on stewardship of our local lakes, rivers, and streams, while encouraging conservation and improvement of our natural resources.
Welcome to the official page for the Oakland County Sportsmen’s Club’s (OCSC) newest sub-club!
The Oakland County Sport Fishing Club was founded in December 2018. Our goal is to promote the sport of fishing while educating our community about the value of protecting our water resources. We hope to inspire our members to become active stewards of our local lakes and streams while we learn about new techniques and methods to improve our skills as ethical anglers.
The club has a private boat launch and fishing dock which provides access to 26 acre Townsend Lake, We also have a launch and dock giving access to almost ¼ mile of the Main branch of the Clinton River leading to 135 acre Woodhull Lake.
The Sport Fishing Club meets in the MAIN CLUBHOUSE of OCSC which is located at 4470 Waterford Road, Clarkston MI 48346
