MILLER, James, F., Jr., June 9, 2024, Age 71.
Jim was an avid fan of car racing and enjoyed volunteering at the Detroit Grand Prix and Waterford Hills Road Racing, where he put to good use his wife’s VW Rabbit GTI that he had retooled into an ITB race car. Jim was a fount of knowledge about cars and home improvement. His unassuming and quiet nature masked a heavy intellect.
And Jim was always available to friends and family members whenever they realized they were in over their heads with a project. Jim was a family man through and through. The Oakland County Sportsmen’s Club and Waterford Hill Racing send our condolences to his family and friends. He will be terribly missed around the track.
Pamela Jean Krantz, age 76
Pamela Jean Krantz, age 76, of Holly passed away on June 10, 2024. Pamela was an engaged participant with everything she touched from the Dickens Festival in Holly to the Board of Directors at Waterford Hills Road Racing Club, where she managed the Paddock Shop Boutique. Her enthusiasm will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Ronald Krantz and the Waterford Hills Road Racing Club. Our condolences go out to her family and friends.
VOSS, GEORGE H. of Waterford; June 15, 2024; age 82.
Though George may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy he leaves behind. George was an avid member of the Oakland County Sportsmen’s Club, and we send our condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed.
