July 23, 2023This course is a combination of traditional hunter education and traditional bow hunter education courses. Students will receive both hunter education certification and bow hunter education certification. The main purpose of the combination course is to provide a convenient option for students wanting both courses. Topics covered include understanding wildlife management, wildlife identification, ethics, laws and regulations, firearms safety and handling, bow hunting techniques, archery equipment, and tree stand safety.

Thursday, August 03, 6:30 pm, Orientation (parent must attend with their minor(s) at orientation only)
Monday, August, 07, 6:30 pm-9:00 pm
Tuesday, August 08, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm
Wednesday, August 9, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm
Thursday, August 10, 6:30 pm-9:00 pm
Saturday, August 12, 9:00 am -3:00 pm, Field Day
The Hunters Safety Program is open to everyone, eight years of age and older. The above sessions are for ONE class and students are required to attend all sessions. A birth certificate or written proof of age is required along with a class fee of $10.00 is payable on the first day of class. (Fee includes two hotdogs & chips on field day).
