Happy New Year to all!
Last night was band night at OCSC and it was a huge success. It was very well attended and the kitchen and the bar were busy. It was nice to see that kind of attendance despite the nasty weather. Many thanks go out to all the volunteers who helped at this event. Comedy night is the 27th of January and tickets are still available.
Now is the time to renew your membership and maybe even try to bring in a new member or two. This club has a lot to offer and so many people have no idea we are here. Because of that, we’re looking at ideas to enhance our entrance and use new signage to help prospective members know we are here.
Elections are coming up soon for positions on the Boards and committees. If you have an interest in serving your club in a leadership position, contact anyone on the Board with your interest.
We are always looking for volunteers for work bees and events. Please consider helping to gain volunteer hours. It’s rewarding work and a good way to meet other club members. If you want to get on a volunteer work list, please call the office or call me. It takes a lot of people to keep this club looking great and to make special events successful. Kitchen help is always needed, and is really appreciated.
