From The President – April 2023

I usually like to start my article upbeat, but it has been brought to my attention we have another range violation. I need everyone to look at the pictures I have taken. This is what happens when you shoot an unauthorized caliber weapon in our indoor range.

This will cost the club in excess of $1,000.00 to repair, and also this will be the eighth check I have written to the welder.

Now, what everyone needs to ask themselves is “what could the club have spent over $8,000.00 on to improve things and beautify our club, instead of spending club funds to repair what one individual, who couldn’t, or didn’t, want to follow range rules”.

So, once again, look at the pictures and let it sink in what the cost consequences are for violating range rules.

The only other thing I have is, come on spring, can’t wait to get the boat out!
