D.R. Wilson Rifle and Pistol Club & Action Pistol Range

There have been two work weekends in Phase 1 of the Range Improvement Plan that have made significant improvements to the general membership range. We now have a 10-yard range and the deteriorated backstops on the 25- and 50-yard ranges have been removed and replaced with earthen berms. Targets are now placed on horizontal rails and foam board backers and are lower which will prevent damage to the backstops. Stop by check it out and
enjoy the new configuration!

The third and next step in Phase 1 of the Range Improvement Plan is finishing the walls on the 10-, 25- and 50-yard berms, backfilling and elevating these berms to a greater height. This working session is scheduled for November 18/19. Come out and help if you can.

Match Shooting on the APR winding down for the year but is still is very active with USPSA, and SCSA matches
taking place through November. Indoor shooting is already underway.

Indoor Range – Junior Rifle Sept 11, 2023 to April 30, 2024 Mondays 6-10pm
Indoor Range – Senior Rifle Wednesdays 6-10pm
Indoor Range – Bowling Pins Sept 24, 2023 to April 28, 2024 Sundays 6-10pm
Indoor Range – PPC Practice Oct 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024 – Mondays 9am-1pm, Thursdays 5-9pm
Indoor Range – Veterans Day 1800 Saturday November 11, 2023 9am – 4pm
Indoor Range – IDPA & USPSA Practice Nov 4, 2023 – March 30, 2024 Saturdays 8:30 AM to 12pm
Indoor Range – Winter IDPA Match Jan 26/27 Friday 7pm to Saturday 1pm
Outdoor Range 25/50/100 yd – Hunters Sight-In Sat / Sun Oct 28/29 and Nov 4/5 10am to 6pm
