Archery Club News

The Winter Archery Leagues are now finished for the year and it is time to move outdoors!

Summer leagues start the first week of May.
May 3rd 3D leagues start at 9:00am and 4:00pm.
Field & Hunter leagues start May 5th at 9:00am and 4:00pm.
There will also be a Youth 3D Instructional League that starts May 3rd at 5:00pm.
Get your teams together and come enjoy the beautiful outdoor courses.

The results of all of the Winter Leagues and Club Championship will be announced at the Spring Banquet on April 23rd. Doors open at 5:00pm with dinner planned for 6:00pm. We will also be awarding this year’s recipient of the Archer of the Year award. This is the most prestigious award presented by the Archery Club. For those that don’t know what this award is, it goes to the archer who has contributed the most throughout the year to the Archery Club (by promoting the club, taking part in shoots and leagues, being involved with special projects / functions, and workbees). We will also be announcing the Slate of Officers for the Archery Club Board for the upcoming year.

Workbees have started. We meet every Wednesday morning at 9:00am at the Archery Club. Watch for notices of upcoming workbees. We are planning to have some evening and weekend workbees this year to accommodate the people that would like to be involved but can’t make the morning workbees.

The Archery Building has been updated with new A/C units and the upstairs is now air conditioned! Thanks goes to Bill Dau for his follow-up getting this project completed.

Please come and join us at the monthly Archery Meeting. The meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month in the Archery Club Building.
